About The Tortoise & The Hair Soapery

We make handcrafted, cold-processed soaps and shampoos right here in our little corner of Illinois, and we put lots of love into every single bar. Each soap is made with a blend of coconut, palm, olive, canola, and castor oils, plus vitamin E, sodium lactate, kaolin clay, tallow, and natural fragrance oils. Our products are casted in an originally-designed custom mold that yields it's unique look. Our products lather up beautifully and make your shower feel like a special treat!

Our custom supply line is 3D printed to order, which means if you can dream it (and describe it), we can build it and ship it to you.
